Thai National Parks

Khao Sok National Park

Group Tour | Shared 2-days/1-night tour with a small group

Unlike most crowded and chaotic group tours on Cheow Lan Lake accommodating up to 18 people per guide and boat with shared rooms and beds, our group tours are limited to a maximum of 6-7 guests for a more personalized experience, including a private room.

For a more flexible itinerary, we recommend booking a private tour on the lake, where you’ll have the guide and boat entirely to yourself. However, if that’s beyond your budget, a small-group tour like this may offer a similar experience but with a fixed itinerary.

Situated between Khao Sok National Park and Khlong Saeng Wildlife Sanctuary, Cheow Lan Lake has one of the most beautiful scenic views in Thailand.

The tour includes accommodation with a private room at Phupha Waree Raft House, a private guide, and a private boat with a dedicated driver.

With a 2-day/1-night tour at Cheow Lan Lake, you'll experience breathtaking rock formations, hike to a waterfall, explore a cave, hike, kayak, swim, and cruise the resort vicinity for wildlife watching. Depending on seasonal possibilities, the itinerary may change, for instance if the waterfall happens to be dry, and alternative activity may be offered.

Floating Resort(s)

We are currently offering only Phupha Waree as a floating resort option. We may in time offer other options as well. We recommend reading the reviews for any resort you are considering before booking as the opinion about the resorts can be black and white.

2D/1N tour itinerary

Unlike the private tours we offer, the itinerary is very strict, meaning, you need to be ready for the next excursion at a time the guide informs all participants.

Because of eventual bad weather conditions or other unforeseen seasons, the itinerary may change and in worse case you may have to take cover at your floating resort until the weather gets better, giving a miss to some activity(es).

Day 1

10am – Pick-up from Cheow Lan Lake Pier and board a long-tail boat.

Cruise past stunning limestone karsts, known as the "Three Rocks" or Khao Sam Kloe, before exploring Diamond Cave.

Check in at the resort and enjoy a traditional Thai lunch featuring rich southern curries and fresh local vegetables.

Bang Hoi Waterfall

Enjoy an afternoon wildlife safari by boat.

Return to the resort for a refreshing swim, relaxation, and breathtaking views.

End the day with a delightful dinner featuring fresh fish, Thai soup, and seasonal vegetables.

Day 2

Rise before breakfast for the morning mist safari, the best time to gibbons, macaques and dusky leaf monkeys

Return to the resort for breakfast

The tour ends around 9:30 to 10 am at the pier

4/5 stars

The accommodation was basic but we were informed accordingly during the enquiry stage. We got some rain shower and had to take cover at the resort but it didn't last long and we were back touring around the lake. Recommended.
