Private Tour | Erawan Falls | private day tour from Bangkok
Our tours are private, meaning no others will share the transfer or the guide with you.
Kanchanaburi Province in west Thailand is home to several natural and historical sites popular among both local and foreign tourists. Erawan National Park in the province, with its famous falls, is no doubt one of the most iconic attractions in Thailand but it is also one of the most beautiful falls in entire Asia.
What?
A day tour to Erawan Falls includes:
- Round-trip transfer from/to Bangkok
- A visit to Erawan National Park, where you can hike to all seven tiers and enjoy swimming in the ponds
- A stop at Krasae Cave and the Death Railway Wooden Bridge
- A visit to the River Kwai Bridge in Kanchanaburi City
Where & When?
This full day tour can be booked all year round except on long week-ends and holidays when the waterfalls get too overcrowded.
Our driver will meet you at 6 am in your hotel’s lobby in Bangkok and later a guide will join you in Kanchanaburi City. Driving time to Kanchanaburi will take around 2 hours 20 minutes and another hour to Erawan Falls. After the tour you will be taken back to your hotel, with expected return time to hotel around around 7 to 8 pm.
When to book?
For the high season months from November to April, we recommend booking a few months in advance because for certain periods the guides may get fully booked. Though, for certain dates there may be guides available even when booked days/weeks before.

Fang, our guide, was very easy to talk with and accommodating. He answered most of our questions with added information.
When we were on our way to Erawan, we asked him to tell us where best to take pictures; he replied, “Everywhere!”
So true.

The Erawan waterfalls are wonderful. Our phone camera was unable to capture the beauty of it.
I wish that Level 6 is made a required view, not just an option that tourists may say No to

This trip was so well organized. My guide Cat was delightful and made the hike up to Phra That cave really enjoyable. She also gave excellent suggestions of which pools to enjoy the most at Erawan Falls. The car and driver were also so nice and made the day feel really relaxed. I wish I had taken more advantage of the car staying with us all day, and brought two pairs of shoes to enjoy the water and the cave.

Everything worked well, pick-up, drive, guide, walk, swim in the waterfalls, the other interesting stops and sending home, like stated on the program.
We had a really enjoyable day. Thank you!

This is a great tour! Our driver, Aod, arrived promptly to pick us up from the hotel. There was a lot of driving as the Erawan National Park is 3 hours away from Bangkok, but he drove well and kept good time.
Our guide, Bass, was absolutely amazing! He had such good knowledge of the stops on the tour and the local area, being local from the area. He was patient with our questions. And polite with his explanations.
He gave us plenty of time to enjoy the Erawan waterfalls. At lunch, he ensured we were well fed and ensured we had some food to take back with us for dinner.
Highly recommend this tour and a special shout out to Aod and Bass.

We got picked up at 6am by Ado, our driver and picked up Fang, tour guide when we got into Kanchanaburi. They were both amazing. Fang was brilliant. Kept us all entertained with the facts and also helped carry our life vests and bag as we were wet from the waterfalls. The waterfalls were beautiful and this has definitely been the highlight for our trip
